S'more Bacon, Please

If you are a person who can’t resist bacon on a glazed donut, this savory s’more is for you. It is a spicy and smokey wrap with a sensationally gooey middle. It’s a sweet treat for breakfast or a flirty and fun appetizer.

Ingredients

SERVINGS: 10 bites
  • 10 slices bacon
  • 2 tablespoons dark cocoa powder
  • 1 tablespoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon allspice
  • 3 tablespoons graham cracker crumbs
  • 10 marshmallows
  • 10 skewers or long toothpicks.

Preparation

Preheat oven to 400 degrees

Mix cocoa powder, pepper, cinnamon and allspice and set aside. You can store extra to use later.

Place bacon slices on baking sheet and cook for 15–20 minutes.

Remove from the oven and drain the pan. Sprinkle on spices and graham cracker crumbs immediately. The bacon will continue to cook a bit while it sits on the pan out of the oven.

Once the bacon cools, wrap each marshmallow with a slice of bacon and fasten with a skewer or long toothpick.

Return the wrapped marshmallows to the oven for 1 minute.

Serve warm.
