Edible Western NY and Erie Lakeshore Spring 2024 cover

SPRING

Spring is the season for new beginnings—a time to reset. It calls for patience, watching for the days to grow longer, the seeds to stir and roots to grow. This year, in particular, we are especially keen on the returning light as we anticipate a darkening shroud. The entire region is on pins and needles, preparing and waiting for the solar eclipse.

In this issue we pay homage to the sun and the moon with stories of growing and healing as well as light and shadow. Nicole Cappozziello talks with Andrea Neidrauer from Terra House in Akron, NY, about her path to feeding others. Donna De Palma introduces us to a herd of therapy goats, and Brett Llenos Smith gives us a primer on indoor growing.

Look for a complimentary copy at advertisers and partner locations throughout Western New York and Northwest Pennsylvania as well as in brochure racks at major attractions, information centers and hotels.
