Crust
- 1½ cups crushed Oreo-type cookies packed well (about 20 cookies)
- ½ cup butter, melted
Filling
- 3 eggs
- ½ cup sugar
- ¾ cup sour cream
- 2 cups cherries, de-stemmed, pitted and chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 325°F.
Pour melted butter into cookie crumbs and press the mixture into a pie plate. (Tip: Make the crust ahead and chill it for a couple of hours.)
Beat the filling ingredients together and fill the pie shell. Bake for about 55 minutes until the custard is firm.
Serve very cold.
