Recipe for Sleepy Time Bath Blend

In many cultures, hops have long been associated with healing and relaxing. Craft your own bath blend including skin smoothers such as eucalyptus and calendula petals and epsom salts which are rich in magnesium. You can use your blend as a full bath or footbath.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon dried hops
  • 1 tablespoon dried lemon balm leaves
  • 1 tablespoon dried calendula blossoms
  • 1 tablespoon dried eucalyptus leaves
  • 1 cup Epsom salt

Preparation

Add the Epsom salt as your bath is filling.

Combine the herbs and tie into a cheese cloth sachet. Steep the sachet in boiling water for 2–5 minutes before adding both the water and the sachet into the bath.
