Here, wineries, small villages and beaches are nestled amidst 30,000 contiguous acres of verdant vineyards. During harvest season, the aroma is intoxicating.
Wineries along Lake Erie Wine Country’s wine trail are open year ‘round and offer selections for novices to connoisseurs including wines that have won awards in all categories: dry, semi-dry, sweet, dessert and specialty. Visitors will find tasting rooms in stone cellars as well as some with sweeping views of Lake Erie. End-to-end Lake Erie Wine Country is about 50 miles long with 23 wineries.
