Chautauqua Art Gallery
Leslie received a BA in Commercial Art, with a minor in Art History, from the Rochester Institute of Technology before launching a career in print and web design and digital communications. She spent time in Northern Virginia and several years at Chautauqua Institution leading up to the opening of her own gallery space at the Chautauqua Art Gallery.
In her creative process, Leslie is inspired by the regional landscapes of Chautauqua County and Western New York and seeks to build a narrative of life lived here through carefully created compositions in paintings and drawings. Her work has been shown at regional and national galleries and competitions, including the annual Chautauqua-Lake Erie Art Trail Open Studio and Gallery Tour; Women Create - Jamestown NY; Maryland Federation of Art - Annapolis MD; and Chautauqua Annual Exhibition of Contemporary Art - Chautauqua NY. She is available for commissioned work and specializes in portraits of homes, real estate, and landscapes.
